Först måste jag bara säga, vilken underbart härligt och lång titel, just love it!

Härligt att vara tillbaka i Alexias underbara värld igen, som vanligt så levererar fröken Carriger denna lilla kortberättelse på sitt härliga, charmiga och underbart egna sätt .

Denna gång tillhör rösten Alexias far, Alessandro Tarabotti, som är skönt otrevlig, dryg och full i fan + givetvis välklädd, precis såsom jag trodde att han skulle vara. I han sällskap så hittar vi Floote och det var intressant att se en liten annan sida av honom än vad vi är vana vid i Alexia berättelserna.

I detta lilla smultron till korthistoria får vi känna smaken av Egypten, där finns mumier, varulvar, excentriska karaktärer, givetvis ett par slagsmål och detta serverat med en stor dos humor.
Roligt, kul och att måste för alla Parasol Protectorate fans!

Jag hoppas verkligen att vi får läsa mer om denne dryga Italienare och hans trogna följeslagare, för ett som är säkert, jag inser hur mycket jag saknat denna värld.

Just loved to be back in Gail Carrigers and her lovely Parasol Protectorate world. It’s still Gail’s wonderful words but definitely a different voice then Alexia.
We finally meet the (in) famous Alessandro Tarabotti, and we get more of Floote as well!
Egypt, mummies, fighting and werewolf’s, what can possibly be wrong with that 😀
I really hope that Ms. Carriger will let us read more of Alexia’s father and his adventures.
