New Comic Book Day, 1/10

New week, new comics!!
This week I actually struggled with which comics NOT to pick up. Probably going to expand my list, but so far;

NCBD 10/1

AfterShock Comics
Monstro Mechanica #2
Writer: Paul Allor
Artist: Chris Evenhuis
Ok, confession time, I haven’t got around, still need to read the first issue, but “A new series starring Leonardo da Vinci, his female apprentice, Isabel, and their wooden robot! “, well it could be interesting.

Pestilence #6
Writer: Frank Tieri
Artist: Oleg Okunev
Cover: Tim Bradstreet
The “true” story of the great pestilence. Its Zombies and Knights, oh did I mentions its zombies and Knight 🙂

Image Comics
Coyotes #3
Story: Sean Lewis
Art/ Cover: Caitlin Yarsky
Fabulous art and a interesting spin on old werewolf myth.

Port of Earth #3
Story: Zack Kaplan
Art/ Cover: Andrea Mutti
Sci-fi, aliens and a whole lot of not so nice future, what’s not to like.

Witchblade (2017)#2
Story: Caitlin Kittredge
Art/ Cover: Roberta Ingranata, Bryan Valenza
Like this new take on the Witchblade and its new host. It feels and looks a bit more “modern” (for lack of a better word) then the old series.

Marvel
Runaways (2017) #5
Writer:Rainbow Rowell
Artist: Kris Anka
The latest Runaway is a must have.

Titan Comics
Normandy Gold #5
Writer: Megan Abbott, Alison Gaylin
Artist: Steve Scott
A kick-ass Sheriff, murder and prostitution in the 1970s.

Zenescope
Van Helsing vs Robyn Hood #1
Writer: Ralph Tedesco
Artist: Allan Otero
I know, I know, but its sort of like really nice comfort food.

What comics are you picking up?
