This week’s list:

Top Ten Goals/Resolutions For 2015 — bookish, blogging or otherwise!

Last Top Ten Tuesday of 2014, what can I say, it’s been an interesting year, with a lots of ups and a few downs. But today we concentrate on the tomorrow, so Goals/Resolutions For 2015 — bookish, blogging or otherwise?

To be honest I don’t do resolutions, period. It’s so disappointing when you set up big ones and then slowly as the new year unfolds realize that you probably were a bit ambitious, or maybe the champagne were getting to your head, or maybe your heart wasn’t really in to it, or maybe just maybe you failed big time, so no I don’t do resolutions.

But then you got to have goals, right? I can do that, goals, yes that would do just nicely. So here goes nothing,

1. Write more
To date I’ve read 79 books this year and I’m not even close when it comes to reviewing all of them.
My lovely friend keeps telling me, you must write more! and maybe they are right, so I will try to put down some few more words.

2. Get more involved in the blogging community
It’s a bit harder than I thought, well maybe not hard, but I do need to put aside time for it, to be totally honest I do love all those lovely book blogs out there.

3. Read more
This year I had 100 books on my Goodreads challenge, I didn’t quite make it, next year I’ll do another try.

4. Go to Copenhagen Comics
This year there is no excuses!

5. Making some changes to this blog
This last goal is more of a thought, been thinking for a while if I should write both in Swedish and in English, so I need to decide whether I can make the time to change this blog to be in two languages or just to keep it as it is…
Questions, questions and then some challenges, or rather decisions, decisions and some challenges. But then life would be pretty boring if there were no challenges or decisions to make, now wouldn’t it?

  1. Getting involved in the community (at least from a viewing/commenting standpoint) definitely takes longer than what you’d think–at least for me. Even these weekly posts takes me forever to push through the 40-50 posts through perusing the tagged posts. But opening dialogue is definitely worth it!

    • That is true, I spend so many hours just browsing and reading blog posts and reviews, but I haven’t really getting in to commenting and getting involved. To be honest that was sort of the reason I’ve started blogging in the first place, to talk books and share thoughts with others 😀
Thanks for the encouragement, think it’s time for me to do just that.
And with that note, I wish you a Happy New Year and all that,

  2. Good luck with your 2015 goals!! Interacting with the blogging community is one of my favorite things to do!! I enjoy interacting with other avid readers!! Here’s a link to my TTT post for this week:

    • Thank you! Interacting and talking books was really the reason I’ve started blogging and well, it took some time to get the blog in order, but now I really don’t have any excuses not to be more active.
      Thanks for the link 😀
      Have a wonderful New Year!
